lunarmapz is creating 3d maps of the Moon using topographic data from NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Laser Altimeter (LOLA) which is mounted on the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO). We're then adding gamification to make exploring the Moon fun.​

Tranquility Base Mining Colony: The Moon is our first release. This Open World game area encompasses about 17,000 sq kilometers around Tranquility Base, the Apollo 11 landing area.
